Badminton Dress Code and Rules

• Players are required to wear recognized badminton clothing.

• Shoes must be non-marking and NOT trainers or black-soled shoes.

• Muddy shoes MUST NOT be worn on court.

• Members and guests are expected to adhere strictly to this. Please see the badminton section byelaws for further information on dress code. 

• Please vacate your court at the end of your booked session

• The use of mobile phones on and in the vicinity of any court is forbidden.

• Chewing gum, sweets and food of any kind are not allowed on badminton court or sports hall. 

Non-members can play at the Club as a guest but they will have to pay a visitor fee on each occasion, and as detailed in our Visitor Policy; after 5 visits we would expect them to become a member of the club. If attending a recognised badminton session a fee of £2.50 to cover shuttle usage is also payable.
