Junior Squash & Racketball & Coaching
|
Children of all ages can really benefit from playing squash. Not only as an
outlet for their boundless energy, but also from the discipline of learning a
sport and the social interaction of the game. At Limpsfield LTC juniors are very
welcome and we teach squash to juniors from around 6 years right up to adulthood. Our older juniors are welcome to join in club sessions and are also
active in taking part in team league squash and the club tournaments.
Limpsfield also
enters a number of junior teams into the Surrey County squash competitions. For
more information, or if your child is interested in playing in a club team,
please speak with the
Club
Squash Coach, Toby Mortimer on 07786 006 223. Please note only club
members can play in a club team.

Junior Coaching
Limpsfield LTC run
squash coaching
junior squads, teaching the skills and game of squash to
children from 10 – 18. These lessons are both instructional and fun and are
timed to allow the juniors to come on to the club straight from school. In
addition we hope to run a mini squash programme. Mini squash introduces children
from 5-10 years to the game allowing them to grasp the basics at an early age.
For more information about squash coaching or mini-squash please contact Toby Mortimer.
All of our
club coaches hold relevant coaching qualifications and have undergone a sports
governing body initiated CRB check.

Fitness
Squash is an
energetic sport which requires a reasonable level of fitness. If a player
has any health or fitness problems, or any medical condition, then please ensure
that the coach is informed at the first session. Naturally every care is taken
to ensure the safety and well-being of the players. However, as in any
sport, injuries can occur and it is important that parents are aware of this.
