Table Tennis Junior Play and Coaching

Playing Table tennis at Limpsfield LTC

If you are a complete beginner, returning after injury, a bit rusty, or an experienced and regular player, virtually everyone can benefit from coaching at some point in their playing life. A coach can help you learn, generally improve or work on a particular aspect of your game. Whatever you want to achieve, it’s great fun and really satisfying to feel you are learning and progressing.

Children of all ages can also really benefit from playing table tennis. Not only as an outlet for their boundless energy, but also from the discipline of learning a sport and the social interaction of the game. At Limpsfield LTC juniors are very welcome and we can teach the skill of table tennis to juniors from 8 to 80!

Limpsfield LTC has a licenced Table Tennis Coach, Brian Spicer, who offers individual and group coaching for members of all ages and abilities. If you want to book an individual coaching session, or get a few friends together to organise some group coaching, please call Brian on 07962 262727 or call the Club Office on 01883 714079.

Fees for table tennis coaching are paid direct to the coach. Non-members can have coaching at the Club but they will have to pay a Visitor fee in addition on each occasion, and are subject to our Visitor policy; after 5 visits we would expect them to become a member of the Club.

All of our club coaches hold relevant coaching qualifications and have undergone a sports governing body initiated CRB check.

Fitness

Table tennis is an energetic sport which requires a reasonable level of fitness.  If a player has any health or fitness problems, or any medical condition, then please ensure that the coach is informed at the first session. Naturally every care is taken to ensure the safety and well-being of the players.  However, as in any sport, injuries can occur and it is important that parents are aware of this.

Club Byelaws

Please note that as a Club our junior members are most welcome, however in respect to other members and in line with our Club Byelaws:
