Glyn Limpenny - Tennis Coach
I was a pretty late starter to the game, playing in my late 20's.
My passion was instant so I worked hard and moved through the ranks until I played Kent Division 1 for a number of years with good success, winning the League 4 times.
I played National Club League for Sydenham, we reached the regional finals two years in a row, winning one and coming a close second the other.
My aim is to help others achieve their goals but above all make sure it's fun.
As a LTA level 3 licenced coach, I've been coaching now for a number of years at different clubs. Setting up community programmes, including juniors and adults. It's really rewarding and thoroughly enjoyable to see complete beginners coming through the ranks. Building confidence and self - belief in youngsters is priceless.
My work has taken me into primary schools and I have also coached wheel chair tennis, these players really bring a new meaning to dedication and hard work! I also had the pleasure in coaching a player who has a 'Ticket to Tokyo'.
I have delivered a number of LTA designed courses including Cardio Tennis, Tennis Express, Advantage tennis and Tennis Tuesday, so plenty of experience with all kinds of tennis playing ability.
