Tennis Singles & Doubles Box Leagues
Limpsfield LTC operates singles and doubles box leagues If you haven’t played in one before they are a great way to meet
other club members and compete against players of a similar standard. Each box league is typically played over 4-8 weeks, with approx 6 people
in a league. The leagues are displayed on the Tennis Notice board.
If you are interested in participating in the box leagues please email norman.pharoah@btinternet.com or add your name to the lists on the tennis notice board.
Club Tennis Tournaments
During the year Limpsfield LTC holds singles, doubles, mixed, handicap,
veterans and junior tennis tournaments, as well as regular day
tournaments. We also host a popular Open Junior Tournament and a number of charity tournaments.
Summer Tournament
June |
The main Club tournament where there are Men’s and Ladies’ Singles,
Men’s and Ladies’ Doubles and Mixed Doubles events together with a Men’s
and Ladies’ Singles Plate. |
Winter Tournament
September - March |
This is run along the lines of the main summer tournament but is restricted to Men’s, Ladies’ and mixed Doubles. |
American Tournaments
April, September & December |
These are usually held on a Saturday afternoon in April and September at
the beginning and end of the Summer Tennis Season. A Christmas American
Tournament is held on a Sunday morning in December with tennis being
followed by mince pies and mulled wine. |
Mollie Couldrey Two Generation Tournament
August Bank Holiday Monday |
This is an annual event held on August Bank Holiday Monday for doubles
pairs comprising an adult and a junior playing together.

Tandridge Summer Tournament
Every year Tandridge run a postal knock-out event which runs from May until September.
This year the finals are being held at Godstone Tennis Club.
