Squash and Racketball at The Limpsfield Club
The best rackets club for miles around has superb squash and racketball facilities.
The club has six heated/cooled courts providing safe, enjoyable play. One court has a glass back with tiered spectator seating.
The remaining five have viewing galleries. All courts undergo a thorough annual maintenance programme.
The club, which is affiliated to England Squash and Racketball, welcomes players of all abilities - from the expert to the complete beginner.
Coaches are available to help and advise players of all abilities.
As an "Indoor" member, not only can you play these two great sports, but badminton and table tennis, too.
Club nights are held every Friday and Sunday and sessions cost only £2 (£1 for juniors).
And everyone is welcome. These sessions are the perfect opportunity to meet and to play other members of all standards.
Additionally, every third Friday from October to May, Friday's club night is replaced by Team League squash, a friendly internal league of twelve teams, each with three players.
Teams, leagues and tournaments
Teams for men, women and juniors are entered into into the Surrey squash summer and winter competitions.
A mixed team also plays in the county racketball league.
Internally there are hotly-contested squash and racketball leagues for all abilities. Up-to-date information is displayed on the squash and racketball noticeboard and the website.
Throughout the year, the club holds a number of squash and racketball tournaments. Some are handicapped, some are for veterans, and some are for juniors.
Coaches are on hand to teach individuals and groups of all ages and abilities the finer points of squash and racketball. The coaching department also organises squash and racketball coaching for juniors during term-time, as well as running fun sessions and camps during school holidays.
Squash and racketball committee
The section committee comprises volunteer members who meet regularly. Members interested in joining the committee, helping with a section event or who have ideas or comments, are welcome to contact the committee.
