Taekwondo Sessions are held on Sunday mornings in the club sports hall. These sessions are run by the Fortitude Academy and are open to non-members.
Taekwondo is a martial art originating from South Korea. The name Taekwondo literally translates as the way of the foot and the fist - tae means to break or attack with the foot, kwon means to break with the fist and do translates as the art or way.

Keep Fit sessions are held every Tuesday (6:15pm -7:30pm) in the sports hall. These sessions run along the lines of circuit training, with a mixture aerobic and strength exercises carried out at stations around the sports hall, some exercises may involve using weights or a piece of gym apparatus.
The session ends with a series of stretching exercises.
Keep fit is an excellent way to improve fitness and strength and prevent weight gain.
If you wish to join in, just turn up on Thursdays at 6.00 pm. The cost per session is £2 for members which covers the hire of the sports hall.
All ages and abilities welcome.
